On Friday August 1^st over 100 Swiss and friends gathered at the Huwiler's acreage to celebrate the Swiss National Day.  We thankfully enjoyed the tent, which provided some nice shelter from the sun.

The Crossbow competition was fun for kids and grown-ups alike.  Everyone listened to the choir performance and later to the accordion players.  The tape with the address was played and everybody had a good time even though the huge wood pile couldn't be lit due to the dry weather with strong winds.

The very next day the Jass tournament was held.  The 12 Jass  players, together with some friends, had a good time and went home tired but happy that night, but not until after having enjoyed another round of Bratwurst, Salad and Nussgipfel.

Thanks to  everybody for their help and especially to Tom and Anne Huwiler for their hospitality at their acreage and the Men's Choir choir for organising the tent.
